Hyatt's Americas luxury pipeline names twelve hotels

Hyatt's 29 September release sets three Park Hyatt hotels in Mexico, four Alila properties, two Unbound Collection additions and three Grand Hyatt resorts across the Americas.

Hyatt sets three Park Hyatts behind Mexico

Hyatt Hotels Corporation published its Americas luxury portfolio release on 29 September 2026. The release is datelined Chicago and leads on the Park Hyatt brand's expansion in Mexico and on additions to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol opened in December 2025 as the brand's first Mexican hotel. It sits on the coast of Baja California Sur with contemporary Mexican architecture, oceanfront dining and a wellness offering, and the release states every room has views.

Park Hyatt Riviera Maya is expected to open by the end of 2026. Hyatt states it will be the world's first all-inclusive Park Hyatt hotel.

Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco is expected to welcome its first guests in spring 2027. The hotel holds 155 rooms and suites on Campos Eliseos in Polanco, across from Chapultepec Park.

Alila adds the Erewhon channel

The Alila portfolio in the Americas spans Alila Ventana Big Sur, Alila Napa Valley, Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas and Alila Mayakoba, which joined in February 2026.

Alila Mayakoba sits within Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya across 60 acres of beach, lagoon and jungle. It holds 182 guestrooms, suites and villas, six dining destinations and the Alila Spa.

From 1 October, Alila Mayakoba and the three United States properties joined Erewhon's Member Lifestyle Collective. The release states the tie-in introduces the Alila brand to Erewhon's membership, and that Erewhon members can find the participating hotels through Erewhon this fall.

The Unbound Collection and the all-inclusive conversions

The Clayfield is Hyatt's wine-country retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The release ties its interiors to the region's clay-rich soil and surrounding vineyards.

Impression Isla Mujeres transitions into The Unbound Collection by Hyatt on 2 November. Hyatt describes the adults-only resort as all-inclusive with suite-led accommodation and butler service.

Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman, Grand Hyatt Cancun and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos are set to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. The release states the two Mexican resorts add all-inclusive experiences to the Grand Hyatt offering in the Americas.

Hyatt states The Unbound Collection will launch an experiences initiative this year on curated and locally rooted experiences. The Georgian, Hotel La Compania Casco Antiguo and Impression Isla Mujeres sit among the properties set to offer it.

The twelve properties and their markets

The release names three Park Hyatt hotels, four Alila hotels, two Unbound Collection properties and three Grand Hyatt resorts. Seven of the twelve sit in Mexico. Those seven are the three Park Hyatt hotels, Alila Mayakoba, Impression Isla Mujeres, Grand Hyatt Cancun and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos.

Three sit in the United States at Alila Ventana Big Sur, Alila Napa Valley and Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas. The Clayfield sits in Canada and Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman sits in the Cayman Islands.

Two datelines on Hyatt's own host

The release page carries the body dateline "CHICAGO (September 29, 2026)". Its own summary, og:description and twitter:description fields read September 28, 2026.

What the release does not carry

Hyatt publishes no room count and no opening date for The Clayfield. It carries no rate, no occupancy figure and no revenue per available room for any property. Alila Mayakoba at 182 guestrooms, suites and villas and Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco at 155 rooms and suites hold the only two room counts.

The release carries no Mexico demand forecast and no pipeline total for the Americas.
