Albert Hotel names Hubert Bazan spa director
Albert Hotel has appointed Hubert Bazan as spa director at its Fredericksburg, Texas property. In the role he leads operations for The Spa at Albert Hotel, covering the guest experience, team development, service standards, retail strategy and the hotel’s wellness programming.
The hotel describes itself as a Hill Country retreat just off Main Street. Its site lists 105 guest rooms, four restaurants, two bars, a sunken limestone pool and pool bar, a full-service spa, and indoor and outdoor event spaces. The dining venues include The Wellhouse, Junebug’s BBQ, The Pharmacy and The Saloon. The hotel sits at 213 E. Austin St., Fredericksburg, TX 78624, and it is a New Waterloo property.
Two decades in luxury spa operations
Bazan brings more than two decades of experience in luxury spa operations across resort and urban hotel environments. He most recently served as spa director at Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. There he led a team of more than 50 people across operations, treatments, retail and facilities, directed a multimillion-dollar operation, introduced guest experiences and put in cost-control measures that strengthened performance while holding service standards.
He began at Omni as a massage therapist and advanced through supervisory and assistant director roles. His record also includes leadership roles at Mokara Spa at Omni Houston and task force assignments for Omni Hotels & Resorts properties in Houston, Oklahoma City, Frisco and Scottsdale. He supported the pre-opening of Mokara Spa in Frisco, where he helped guide vendor receiving, service-provider interviews, treatment-room readiness and training on spa protocols.

The Spa at Albert Hotel holds seven private treatment rooms, finished to blend Texas Hill Country calm with formal elegance. The hotel describes the setting as inspired by the region’s creeks, springs and wildflower fields.
The signature offerings are the Albert Ritual Massage and The Stillwater Massage. Seasonal programming includes the Lavender and Lemon Ritual, which pairs the hotel’s signature facial with LED light therapy and closes with a lavender lemon shortcake from The Pharmacy.
