The Terms Behind Two Sold-Out Nights
Portola Music Festival ran Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 at Pier 80 in San Francisco. Every pass tier on the organiser's pass page reads Sold Out. The published order terms carry a transfer window, a household cap, a no-refund rule and two support clocks.
The Transfer Window And The Household Cap
The pass page set an eight-pass limit per household. Two-day passes could not be shared. All sales were final, with no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. Re-entry was not permitted. The transfer option turns on within 72 hours of the festival, and the organiser states it may open sooner. The name on the original order cannot be changed.
The Two Published Clocks
The box office at 900 Marin St ran from 11 am to 9 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. It took credit and debit cards and refused cash. Will-call pickup required a physical government-issued photo ID, the order number and the credit card used for purchase. The organiser allowed no name changes and no alternate pick-ups.
The ticketing platform published a separate support clock. AXS order support ran Monday to Friday 8 am to 10 pm CST and Saturday and Sunday 12 pm to 10 pm CST. On the festival weekend that desk opened an hour before the box office and closed an hour before it.
The Rate Month The Weekend Sat In
Engine publishes San Francisco at $165 per night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, on its par-rate definition. September reads $192, sixteen percent above the city figure, and December reads $129. Two nights price at $384 on the September line.
The Demand The Terms Sat Against
Every tier sold out, from two-day general admission at $399.95 to two-day VIP at $779.50. Quantities were limited while supplies last. The organiser published no attendance figure for either day, and the FAQ states that some areas carried limited capacities.
What A Reservations Desk Puts In Writing
Four terms carry the weekend into a group file. Ask for the cancellation deadline in local hotel time, the name-change fee, the cut-off date and the rooming-list deadline. Ask whether the property links every reservation under one confirmation list when the group books one room at a time.
