A December opening with a first-stay date
Signia Hilton Indianapolis opens in December and takes reservations at Hilton.com for stays from 9 December 2026. Hilton published that date in its April 2026 reservations release and repeated it in the culinary release it issued on 6 October 2026. The property is the Indiana Convention Center's newest headquarters hotel.
The room count differs between the two releases. The culinary release puts the hotel at 803 rooms, and the Indianapolis Business Journal's article body carries the same figure. The April release carries 800 rooms, and the Journal's article description carries 800.
The downtown position the rooms sit in
The hotel stands at the southwest corner of Georgia and Illinois streets, on the Georgia Street pedestrian promenade. Skywalk links connect it to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The City of Indianapolis owns the building, the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County leads operations, and Hilton manages the property. Hilton calls it the city's tallest hotel.
The group capacity attached to the opening
The hotel carries 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space across 42 rooms. A 50,000-square-foot ballroom anchors the set and divides into 12 sections. Two further ballrooms measure 16,000 and 9,000 square feet. Modern Indiana Table is the catering collection for the space.
The booking channels the release names
Room bookings run through Hilton.com. Food and beverage bookings run through OpenTable. Private event inquiries at Torchlight, Heartwood and Rosewater's go to a property address. The release names no wholesale, agency or channel-manager route for the room stock.
What the release holds back
The culinary release describes seven chef-driven dining and bar concepts and names six of them: Torchlight, Rosewater's, Heartwood, Slipstream, Deck on 5 and Club Signia. A third party operates an upscale restaurant from summer 2027, and Hilton holds the operator's details back. The release states no room rate, no outlet revenue figure, no covers and no food and beverage contract terms.
