Disrupt's booking windows: a refund close, a door step, a capped block

Disrupt 2026 releases demand on a dated ladder: a refund close on 31 July, a price step at the doors on 13 October, and a re-entry pass block capped at 100 that ends on the same door clock.

The event and its booking windows

TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 runs Tuesday 13 October to Thursday 15 October at Moscone West in San Francisco. The organiser's ticket page publishes three dates that govern a purchase. A refund window closed on 31 July. Every pass price steps up when the doors open on 13 October at 8 a.m. Pacific. A buy-one-get-one offer ends at the same door clock.

The refund close on 31 July

The organiser's terms give a buyer a full refund of the ticket price by emailing a cancellation to events@techcrunch.com by 31 July 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. The amount returns to the method of original purchase. The page reads that tickets are nonrefundable for any reason after that date. Seventy-four days separate the refund close from the door clock on 13 October.

The price step at the doors

The tickets page tells a buyer to choose a type before all prices increase at the door on 13 October. Its banner puts a figure on the step: save up to 100 dollars by registering before the doors open. The page shows one column of early-bird pricing against a crossed-out standard column. Attendee sits at 949 dollars against 1,049. Founder at 999 against 1,099. Investor at 1,099 against 1,199. Non-Profit at 399 against 499. Student at 349 against 399. Expo+ at 299 against 349.

A capped block of re-entry passes

One programme prices an Expo+ Pass at 75 dollars for people laid off in the past year. The page limits the offer to the first 100 qualifying registrants. It closes the offer when the doors open on 13 October at 8 a.m. Pacific. The Expo+ Pass itself carries a standard price of 349 dollars. The page states that once the first 100 passes are claimed, no further passes will be offered through the programme. TechCrunch reserves the right to review registrations for eligibility.

What a pass opens

Every pass covers all three days. The Expo+ Pass carries the Expo Hall, the breakout sessions, the 1:1 meetings, the app's matchmaking and the side events. A select group of side events requires a Disrupt ticket for entry. The industry stages and the roundtable discussions are part of the full conference passes.

The group ladder beside the prices

Two group tiers sit below the pass list. Four to nine passes take 15 percent off at 220 dollars a pass. Ten or more take 30 percent off at 174 dollars a pass. The ten-or-more tier runs by emailing events@techcrunch.com for a code and a booking link, with a reply inside one business day. The 15 percent tier covers Attendee, Investor, Non-Profit and Student passes. Every pass in an order takes one type, and the order runs in one session. The page states that group savings and the buy-one-get-one offer cannot be combined with other promotions, offers or discounts.

The channel the room block fixes

The organiser runs its own attendee room programme. Its hotel page names four properties with a distance from Moscone West: Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA at 0.2 miles, Hotel Zelos San Francisco and InterContinental San Francisco at 0.3 miles each, and Grand Hyatt San Francisco at 0.5 miles. It lists free cancellation and modification, no upfront cost, and loyalty points that still accrue. The page fixes the booking channel: an attendee books through the reservations partner to receive the rate, and the rates apply only to the properties on the partner's list. The named partner is 38 North Connections. The page carries no booking cut-off, and availability reads as while rooms last.

The citywide rate

Engine puts the San Francisco par rate at 165 dollars a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. October reads 176 dollars, 7 percent above the citywide average. The market ranks 18 of 50, at 11 percent above the 148-dollar median.

The week the windows fall inside

Disrupt Week runs 10 to 16 October. Badge pickup opens Monday 12 October from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and that day carries no sessions. The three show days open the Expo Hall at 8 a.m. and close it at 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The side events carry an evening slate from Monday to Friday. The refund close, the door step and the capped block all sit inside that published week.
