Accor signs a 143-room Novotel for Castle Hill in Sydney

Accor will operate a 143-room Novotel inside the Nova Reve precinct at Castle Hill, Sydney, under an agreement with Reve Group, with an opening scheduled for early 2029.

Accor takes the operator role at Castle Hill

Accor will operate Novotel Sydney Castle Hill under an agreement with Reve Group, the developer of the Nova Rêve precinct. The hotel carries 143 guestrooms and is scheduled to open in early 2029. TTG Asia reported the agreement on 2 October 2026.

Hotel Management reported the same agreement on 29 September 2026 and described it as the first signing between Accor and Reve Group. Reve Group is a Hills District developer with projects across Sydney’s north-west.

What the hotel carries

The property is a new build. It will hold restaurants, cafes and bars, a fitness centre, a pool, and conference and events facilities. TTG Asia states the hotel will target corporate and leisure travellers, conference and events delegates, and project teams.

The operator platform behind the signing

TTG Asia puts Accor at more than 420 hotels, resorts and extended-stay properties in the Pacific. Novotel runs more than 620 hotels across 70 countries.

The precinct around the hotel

The hotel forms part of Nova Rêve, a mixed-use development in the Castle Hill town centre. TTG Asia and Hotel Management both put the precinct at 253 apartments across three towers. Hotel Management places the tallest point at 23 levels. The precinct carries more than 1,600 square metres of ground-level shops and cafes and almost an acre of landscaped communal gardens.

Turner leads the architecture and interiors. Land and Form Studios handles the landscape design. TTG Asia places the site within walking distance of Castle Towers and Castle Hill Metro Station.

The developer

Reve Group’s own projects page lists Grand Rêve at Castle Hill as its signature development. The same page carries Rêve by the Sea on the New South Wales coast, Werri Beach at Gerringong, The Grange at Marsden Park and Mt Falcon Estate at East Tamworth. It lists Kassis Homes as its custom builder arm and describes the business as property development and construction in the Hills District.

The demand case the parties make

Adrian Williams, chief operating officer for Accor in the Pacific region, said the signing reflects the company’s confidence in the future of the Hills District and the opportunity for hotels inside mixed-use precincts. Williams described Castle Hill as one of Sydney’s growth corridors, supported by investment in transport, retail and residential infrastructure.

Duncan O’Rourke, chief executive officer for the Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific at Accor, said the signing rests on demand for internationally recognised brands in key economic and lifestyle corridors across Asia-Pacific. He said integrated mixed-use precincts are becoming the model for modern living and travel. Hotel Management reports both statements.

Reve Group managing director Sam Kassis said the partnership adds a global hospitality brand to the precinct. He said the hotel gives the district a place to hold a conference, a wedding or a family celebration, and a place for visitors to stay.

What the reports do not carry

The reports state no development cost, no nightly rate, no opening month inside early 2029, and no length for the management agreement. Neither report places a value on the operating contract.
