1,000 Keys Signed on Paper, 300 of Them in Udaipur From 2030

Atmosphere Living and Midas Group signed a memorandum of understanding on 6 September 2026 to develop and manage approximately 1,000 keys over three years, starting with an approximately 30-acre project in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The release names no operator, no rate and no booking channel, and the project is targeted for completion and launch from 2030 onwards.

Signing and opening sit in different windows

Atmosphere Living and Midas Group signed a memorandum of understanding on 6 September 2026. The trade release carries a New Delhi dateline of 15 September 2026.

The release states that the two companies plan to sign approximately 1,000 keys across projects over the next three years. It states that the Udaipur project is targeted for completion and launch from 2030 onwards.

A signed key is a commitment on paper. A reservations desk reading the announcement gets a supply forecast with no inventory date.

The first project carries 300 of the 1,000 keys

The first development is an approximately 30-acre integrated hospitality project in Udaipur, Rajasthan. A planned 300-key hotel and resort anchors it.

The release positions the property for luxury leisure stays, destination weddings, celebrations and events, and states that it will serve domestic and international travellers.

The remaining approximately 700 keys carry no location. The release names no second city, no second partner and no schedule beyond the Udaipur project.

The selling arrangement is unstated

The release names no operator, no brand and no management company for the planned hotel. It carries no rate, no opening month and no booking channel.

Which entity would hold the reservation system, the loyalty programme and any corporate rate agreement stays unstated. The developer's existing heritage asset carries a brand association in the publisher's own profile. The Udaipur project does not.

What each party brings

A publisher profile attached to the announcement places Midas Group in Jaipur, Rajasthan, led by Durga Prasad Agarwal, with interests across real estate, hospitality, hotels and insurance broking. It states more than 5 million sq. ft. of residential and commercial space developed, and heritage hospitality through Mukundgarh Fort, associated there with ITC's Storii brand.

The Atmosphere Living profile states that the company provides fractional ownership opportunities in branded ultra-luxury serviced homes across South Asia. Both profiles are publisher blocks and sit outside the release text.

Two executives on the record

Sandeep Ahuja, managing director of Atmosphere Living and ONE Atmosphere, said the agreement marks the start of a long-term relationship and that Udaipur is a starting point given its cultural heritage and its standing as a luxury leisure and celebrations market.

Durga Prasad Agarwal, promoter of Midas Group, said the partnership extends beyond a single development and that the two companies aim to build a project with enduring value.

The demand segments are named, not sized

The release ties the development to demand for luxury leisure stays, destination weddings, celebrations and events in Udaipur, and to growth in the destination wedding and experiential travel markets in Rajasthan. It gives no split across those segments, no source-market mix and no seasonality.

An operator weighing channel or rate strategy against this announcement tracks three open items: the operator, the booking channel and the opening month. Each arrives with the Udaipur project.
