The window is seven nights, Monday to Monday
The NFL Scouting Combine runs March 1-8, 2027 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The league's important-dates slate for the 2026-27 season carries the window, and both ends fall on a Monday. The week holds eight calendar days and seven nights, and the middle weekend is Saturday, March 6, and Sunday, March 7.
The 2026 edition ran Feb. 23-March 2 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The league has committed the event to the city through 2028.
No block, so the week sells retail
No Combine room block, group rate, cut-off date or housing bureau is published for 2027 by the league, the Colts or Visit Indy.
The inventory behind the week is public. The Indiana Convention Center counts 7,100 hotel rooms downtown and 4,700 connected by skywalk, with more than half of the downtown rooms within blocks of the center and the stadium. Visit Indy counts 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected, more than 10,000 rooms within walking distance, 34,000 rooms across the metro area and over 8,300 downtown with more than 3,000 in the pipeline.
The first channel to open is the hotel's own
The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis takes reservations for stays beginning Feb. 1, 2027. That first stay night is 28 days before the Combine's Monday open. The venue's April 21, 2026 announcement sizes the property at 800 rooms, and the venue's expansion page reads 803.
The property is the first Signia by Hilton in the Midwest and in Indiana. The City of Indianapolis owns it, and the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County leads operations. The center's expansion page and Visit Indy's new-developments page date the opening to December 2026.
What sets the rate
The Downtown Indy Alliance snapshot, reported by Bradford Allen on March 19, 2026 and citing CoStar and STR data, gives downtown Indianapolis 64.7 percent occupancy against 62.4 percent for the United States, a $209.11 average daily rate and a $135.20 RevPAR, on 8.1 million room nights in the 12 months to mid-2025.
The booking clock compresses
Clubs may designate Franchise or Transition Players from Feb. 17 through 4 p.m. New York time on March 3, inside the week. The negotiation period runs from 12:00 noon New York time on March 9 to 3:59:59 p.m. on March 11, and the 2027 league year and the free agency signing period begin at 4 p.m. on March 11.
The league states the compression itself: "In 2027, there will only be one day between the end of the combine (March 8) and the start of the negotiation period (March 9)." The same page records the 2026 span as a full week. The league party's travel cycle leaves the city on March 9, the morning after the close.

No cancellation term, deposit term or minimum-stay rule for the 2027 week appears on the league's slate, the Colts' pages or Visit Indy's Combine page. Reservation terms sit with each property's own booking flow.
