Two Free Days With No Ticket
The Service and Safety Expo presented by PG&E runs at Pier 27 on Saturday 10 October from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. The expo sits inside Fleet Fest, which the association stages at Fisherman’s Wharf across a week it dates 4 to 12 October 2026.
The expo page labels its two sessions Saturday 10/11 and Sunday 10/11. The association’s week calendar puts the Saturday session on 10 October, and 11 October 2026 is a Sunday.
The Floor The Page Publishes
The page labels its exhibit list as some of the exhibits and publishes nine blocks. The U.S. Navy brings EOD divers to a dive tank for a tic-tac-toe demonstration. U.S. Marine Corps Shock Trauma Platoon Marines run life-saving treatment on simulated civilian casualties.
U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Francisco Coast Guardsmen field questions on search and rescue in the bay. The U.S. Army brings Army Reserve citizen-doctors, nurses and medics of the 352nd Combat Support Hospital, described as ready to deploy on humanitarian missions, and a DTOS Emergency Vehicle whose control room handles emergency communications.
California National Guard operators of a California State Guard maritime vessel talk about search and rescue. The California Office of Emergency Services shows how it coordinates state and federal resources during major emergencies. The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management covers everyday and not-so-everyday emergencies. The San Francisco Fire Department recruits for its Neighborhood Emergency Response Team. A veterans’ block carries the VFW and other veteran service organizations.
The page states its purpose in recruiting terms. It invites visitors to discover public-safety and military careers, to explore careers in military, public safety and emergency response, and to discover careers and opportunities to serve.
What The Page Leaves Out
The page publishes no exhibitor headcount beyond its nine blocks, no vacancy count, no hiring target, no pay range and no application deadline. It publishes no attendance forecast for the expo.
The association publishes no attendance figure for the week. Free entry produces no ticket record and no manifest.
The Rate Line The Two Dates Sit In
Engine puts San Francisco at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. Those figures are par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search, observed 10 to 180 days before check-in.
October averages $176, seven percent above the city average, and the two expo dates sit in October. September averages $192 and March $197, the two peaks of the year. December averages $129. The city ranks 18th of 50 markets, 11 percent above the $148 median.
What The Association Publishes On Rooms
The association’s own lodging page names two properties and publishes no rate, no room block and no cut-off date. The expo page publishes no partner property and no rate.
The Booking Record A Desk Holds
The published record gives two free days at Pier 27, a Saturday clock to 7 p.m. and a Sunday clock to 5 p.m., nine exhibit blocks and an October rate line. It gives no ticket, no manifest, no attendance forecast and no room rate.
A reservations desk working these dates sets its own booking window and its own price basis from the October line. The expo’s published purpose is careers and emergency preparedness, and its published route to both is attendance.
