The two nights the published clocks set
Bands of America runs its Indianapolis Super Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium on 16 and 17 October 2026. The organiser's schedule opens the box office at 6:00 a.m. and preliminary competition at 7:00 a.m. on both days.
The first Friday band takes the field at 7:00 a.m., so a Friday band is in the city on Thursday 15 October. The first Saturday band performs at 7:00 a.m., so a Saturday band is in the city on Friday 16 October. That is two arrival nights for a field of 92 bands.
Sixty bands hold Friday slots and 32 hold Saturday slots on the organiser's participation list, last updated 24 September 2026.
What the organiser publishes as a deadline
Every competing band receives 31 credentials for the adults working with it: six laminate name badges and 25 field passes, included in the registration fee. A band may buy 10 more credentials for a total of 41 credentialed adults.
The organiser requires that extra purchase 30 days before the event, by credit card only. That is the only dated purchase deadline the organiser publishes for this event.
Bands receive the exact number of bus driver wristbands they request in vehicle passes. A director may request up to two medical passes for nurses. The organiser states there are no videographer passes.
No chaperone ratio, no rooming-list deadline and no room block appears on the organiser's pages.
The room base and its terms
The venue's Hotels and Lodging link opens a Visit Indy reservations list for the stadium. The list carries 64 properties sorted by distance from the building, and 21 of them sit inside 0.62 miles. Not one card on the list carries a teaser rate, and every card prints the same request for dates.
The event publishes no group rate and no cut-off date for either night.
The rate table for the month
Engine's Indianapolis page reports an average nightly rate of $128 across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. The page defines those as par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search. October prices at $134, five percent above the city average.
February is the low month at $107, sixteen percent below the average, and May the high at $158, twenty-three percent above it. The year swings 32 percent between the two. Indianapolis ranks 39 of 50 markets in that set and sits 14 percent below the $148 median.
The distribution the event sells through
Spectator tickets run through Ticketmaster, and the organiser's logistics page states that Ticketmaster fees are added at checkout. The event's ticketing is all digital, and the FAQ states that tickets cannot be purchased with cash.
The organiser sells three products: prelims on 16 October, prelims on 17 October and finals on 17 October. Its pages print no price for any of the three.
What a reservations desk can set
The published record carries four items for this weekend. The clocks fix two arrival nights. The credential rule fixes one purchase deadline at 30 days out. Engine fixes an October rate line for the market. The lodging list fixes no rate at all.
