Stonebridge has taken on the dual-branded Courtyard by Marriott and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown. The assignment adds 282 rooms in one Midtown building to the company's managed portfolio, announced under an October 1 dateline.
A Management Company Adds a Two-Brand Building
The property carries two Marriott flags under one roof, and Stonebridge will operate both hotels. The company states that an owner it already serves awarded the assignment.
"This dual-branded property represents a strong addition to our portfolio and further expands our presence in one of the country's most dynamic urban markets," said Rob Smith, chief executive officer of Stonebridge. "I am honored that an existing partner has chosen to expand our relationship and entrust us with another one of their hotels."
Stonebridge says it pursues assignments where operational expertise, commercial discipline and guest-centric management create value for ownership.
One Roof, Two Brands, One Operating Structure
The hotel opened in 2021 at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Peachtree Street. It stands across the street from the Fox Theatre, a National Historic Landmark and a live-entertainment venue.
The building opened with 158 Courtyard rooms and 124 Element rooms, a combined 282 keys under one management structure. Noble Investment Group, the developer, described the pairing as the first of its kind under one roof.
The Commercial Function Stonebridge Sells
Stonebridge markets a fully in-house commercial team and points to targeted marketing, sales and revenue management as the return it offers an owner. On this assignment the company names the property's competitive position within the Atlanta market as the target.
The company describes a portfolio of luxury, resort, full-service and premium select-service hotels. The release states no revenue target, no performance benchmark and no contract term.
The Food and Beverage Division Takes the Dining
The dining work runs through the Stonebridge Food and Beverage division. The company has identified The Ponce Room Bar and Kitchen as the property's signature outlet and plans to build it on indoor and patio seating, a Southern-inspired menu and a craft cocktail list.
The company frames the outlet around pre- and post-theater dining from the Fox Theatre across the street. It also plans expanded options at the Elements RISE breakfast service, alongside the on-site Starbucks and the Courtyard Bistro.
11,000 Square Feet of Meeting and Event Space
The property holds a fitness center and more than 11,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Stonebridge names that space, alongside the dining program, as a driver of revenue and of the property's position in Atlanta.
The Portfolio and the Atlanta Additions
The Midtown mandate follows the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, added on 29 July 2026. Atlanta now holds two of the company's additions this year.
The other 2026 signings are the Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe, in Montgomery, Texas, on 22 January; the 270-room DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Cherry Creek on 17 February; and the 179-room Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District, Tapestry by Hilton, on 2 June.
Stonebridge is privately owned and based in Denver. Its own site reports more than 160 hotels and 25,000 guest rooms across more than 25 states and dates the founding to 1991. The release adds Washington, DC and the Caribbean to the geography.
What the Announcement Does Not Carry
The release names no owner and no purchase price. It carries no contract length, no management fee and no incentive structure, and it names no property leadership. The 2021 opening release named an executive chef and a general manager at the same address.
Brand naming has moved since. The 2021 opening used Element by Westin, and the 2026 release uses Element by Marriott.
