Aimbridge Adds 10 Hotels From a Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum Venture

Aimbridge Hospitality now manages 10 select-service Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt hotels across seven states for a joint venture of Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum Hospitality.

Aimbridge Hospitality has assumed management of 10 hotels owned by a joint venture of Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum Hospitality. The Plano, Texas operator announced the assignment in a release dated to the last week of September 2026.

The hotels carry Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt select-service brands. They sit across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Texas and West Virginia. Several are in or near university markets, and the release names Auburn University, the University of Florida and West Virginia University as examples.

What the mandate covers

The release names no individual hotel, no room count and no brand-by-brand split. It states that Aimbridge manages the portfolio on behalf of the two owners.

Jacobs on the selection

“Being selected to manage this portfolio on behalf of these highly respected institutional partners speaks to the strength of our platform and the results our team delivers every day,” said Eric Jacobs, chief global growth officer at Aimbridge. He said Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum know the operator’s people and operating model, and that Aimbridge intends to build on that relationship across the 10 hotels.

The owners

Prospect Ridge describes itself as an investment manager specializing in private equity real estate investing in the United States. Fulcrum Hospitality describes itself as a hospitality investment operating partner, adviser and asset manager. Fulcrum states that Steven Angel founded it in 2011 and that it manages over $6 billion in assets across more than 25,000 hotel rooms. Both descriptions are the companies’ own.

Renovation work

A number of the assets have recently completed renovations. The remaining hotels face planned improvement projects within the next few years. The release attaches no schedule, no capital figure and no completion window to that work.

Aimbridge’s own scale

The release lead calls Aimbridge “the world’s leading third-party hotel management company.” Its About block calls the company “the world’s leading global hospitality management company” and states that it operates over 80 lodging brands.

The release page displays September 28, 2026, and its structured data carries the same date. The release body prints a Plano, Texas dateline of Sept. 29, 2026. Trade copies split the same way: HOTELS Magazine dated its version September 28, 2026, and Hotel Online carried September 29, 2026.
