The Block Behind Four Service Days
The ASHA Convention runs November 19 to 21 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. ASHA states approximately 15,000 attendees on its convention site. The venue's event page forecasts 13,500, and that page's own body copy reads approximately 13,000.
The housing block holds 27 official hotels. Single rates run from $169 at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown and the Tru by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to $300 at the Conrad Indianapolis. Twelve of the 27 publish a single rate under $200. The rate list is dated 9/10/26 and states that rates are subject to change before housing opens on August 3, 2026.
The Published Rate Ladder
The singles at the low end: $169 at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown and the Tru by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown, $179 at the Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis at the Capitol, the Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis Downtown and the Staybridge Suites City Centre, and $189 at the Aloft Indianapolis, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown, the Hyatt Place, the Hyatt House and the Residence Inn on the Canal.
The middle of the block: $199 at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites and the Towneplace Suites Indianapolis Downtown, $224 at the Hampton Inn Downtown, $228 at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, $239 at the Embassy Suites Hotel Downtown, and $249 at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Downtown and Le Meridien.
The top of the block: $278 at the Westin Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, $286 at the Omni Severin, $298 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis and $300 at the Conrad Indianapolis. The suite column opens at $249+ at the Hilton Indianapolis and runs to $950+ at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, with the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre at $344 and the Westin Indianapolis at $354+.
What the Block Leaves Out
The rate sheet carries no cut-off date, no deposit schedule and no release terms. ASHA's hotel page states the booking terms instead: no change fees and no prepayment at booking, and Maritz Global Events as the only official housing company for the convention.
The Demand Window the Service Days Set
The pre-convention day is Wednesday, November 18. Board, committee and council meetings run 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., registration 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., ticketed state association workshops 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and receptions 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. A Tuesday arrival puts a room buyer in the city the night before the first 8:00 a.m. meeting.
Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday and Friday and closes at 6:00 p.m. on both days. Friday runs past the exhibit hall: the Awards Ceremony holds 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and receptions run to 11:00 p.m. Saturday registration runs 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the exhibit hall closes at the same 1:30 p.m., and the education programme ends at 4:00 p.m.
Across the four days the published registration desk runs 36.5 hours, education sessions 26.5 hours and the exhibit hall 20.5 hours. Friday holds the last late night, and Saturday releases the building in the afternoon.
The Shuttle Window and the Rooms Under It
ASHA runs a complimentary shuttle November 19 to 21 for attendees staying at official hotels outside walking distance of the centre. The shuttle covers the three convention days and carries no Wednesday service. ASHA publishes no airport ground transportation.
The venue counts 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, 4,700 rooms connected to the centre by skywalk, 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport.
What the Record Leaves Open
No page publishes a cut-off date, a group rate floor, a deposit term or a booking-pace figure for the 2026 block. A revenue manager reading the record works from the rate ladder, the 27-property list and the service-day clocks.
