The block four months out
The Central Zone Invitational's housing platform lists 107 Indianapolis properties for 23 and 24 January 2027. Event rates start at $115 a night, and each reservation carries a $12 booking fee.
Bookable inventory has narrowed to two properties. On a 24 September 2026 read, 105 of the 107 listings carried a sold-out banner and room-type rows read "None left" 198 times out of 200.
The Conrad Hilton Downtown Indianapolis held 19 King rooms at $312 with two- and three-night minimums. The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis Convention Center held six Club Signia Suites at $583. The remaining 105 listings showed no bookable room type.
The window is one night
The block's base stay is 23 to 24 January. The Friday night of 22 January is an add-on at booking, subject to availability. A two-day event with a 20,000 forecast therefore commits one room night per room as the default.
Arrivals concentrate inside one published window. Required pre-tournament check-in runs Friday 22 January from 3 to 9 p.m. in Hall F. Rosters close in AES on Thursday 21 January. The organiser states there is no late check-in on Saturday morning.
Two block terms set the cancellation cost. Changes or cancellations inside 10 days of arrival may carry a penalty of one night's room and tax. A no-show on the first night is charged one night plus tax, and the rest of the reservation is cancelled.
The requirement behind the fill
The event runs the Tournament Advantage Program. All out-of-town teams must reserve through the designated housing company. Direct hotel reservations do not count toward the participation requirement. Housing opened on Tuesday 1 September at 9 a.m. Eastern.
The programme publishes a rate guarantee. The hotel must hold the contracted group rate as the lowest publicly available rate for comparable room types across the peak event dates. Membership and eligibility rates, including AAA, AARP, corporate, government, military and crew rates, sit outside that comparison. Prepaid and non-refundable rates sit outside it too. When a lower public rate appears, the hotel has 48 hours to remove it or reduce the whole block to match.
Three exemption routes are published. Commuters qualify automatically on proof of distance to the venue. Military families may qualify with a government rate and military identification, and hotel loyalty-point bookings may qualify under standard verification. Full-team requests need advance approval from the Tournament Director. An individual exemption does not change the team's block or its room ratio.
The $12 booking fee per reservation is non-refundable.
The venue week
The venue's own calendar carries eight events in January 2027. The Youth Rally and Mass Service takes Exhibit Hall J with a 1,500 forecast on 20 January. This event takes Exhibit Hall A-K with a 20,000 forecast on 23 and 24 January. Dot Foods holds a national business meeting at a 2,000 forecast from 27 to 29 January. The Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational forecasts 5,000 across 29 to 31 January, and the RxHealing Sales Convention forecasts 2,000 across the same three days. The Indianapolis Royal Weekend closes the month at 1,250 on 31 January. Victory Athletics Spirit carries 450 on 9 January, and the Whitetail Film Tour carries 300 the same day.
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms. The convention complex connects 4,700 of them by skywalk.
What the organiser has not published
Admissions for 2027 read TBA. The schedule link reads TBA. The organiser publishes no block cut-off date and no room-night total.
A revenue manager can price the week from the venue calendar and the block's last two properties. The last bookable rooms sit at $312 and $583.
