The appointment
Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest has appointed Federico Daniele bar manager of MÚZSA, the hotel's Art Nouveau bar. The hotel dated the release 19 October 2026 in Budapest.
Daniele brings more than 15 years of hospitality work across Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain. He is from Rome.
The roles behind him
His record runs through The London EDITION, The Barcelona EDITION, Nobu Hotel Barcelona, Boadas Cocktails and Drink Kong. He calls his time at Boadas, the historic Barcelona cocktail bar, the formative stop. That work deepened his reading of the stories and the craft behind classic drinks.
The brief he sets
The programme draws on Hungarian ingredients, the architecture of Gresham Palace and the country's artistic heritage. It pairs approachable classics with more adventurous creations. He states the aim as a shared team philosophy that guests recognise as MÚZSA.
"We are fortunate to work in a place of such extraordinary beauty, and that comes with responsibility," Daniele says. "Our drinks, service and entire guest experience should reflect the character of the Palace."
He places hospitality ahead of the drink. "First and foremost, I consider myself a host," he says. "My goal is for every guest to leave in a better mood than when they arrived."
The general manager's line
Julia Selyukova, general manager of the hotel, credits his international record, his respect for the craft and his interest in genuine hospitality. She places MÚZSA among Budapest's cocktail destinations.
Mentoring, and the city
Daniele names mentoring and collaboration as his second brief. "Before competition, there must be community," he says. He has moved to Budapest and cites the city's architecture and the Danube as his working references.
What the release leaves open
The release states no effective date, names no predecessor and sets no commercial targets for the bar. It publishes no seat count and no beverage price list.
