Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa has named Kory Foltz director of food and beverage. The release is dated Bonita Springs, Florida, 14 October 2026.
Foltz oversees the resort’s restaurants and the food and beverage for events. He manages financial performance and leads the dining team across the property.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kory Foltz to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point,” said Brian Kramer, general manager. Kramer cited Foltz’s culinary expertise, his work leading resort operations and his commitment to supporting colleagues, and named the creativity and care he will bring to dining and events.
The remit
Foltz brings more than 30 years in hospitality. He started as a dishwasher in an independent restaurant and moved into the kitchen, then worked Tampa-area restaurants before attending the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach. He holds degrees in culinary arts, international baking and pastry, and restaurant management.
His Hyatt career began at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay as chef de cuisine, then executive sous chef over multiple outlets. He was executive chef at Hyatt Regency Sarasota and at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. He joined the Sunseeker Resort opening team in Port Charlotte as resort executive chef, covering seven restaurants, 60,000 square feet of event space and a food hall, and later became that resort’s director of food and beverage.
The property
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point sits in Bonita Springs, near Naples. The release puts the resort at 462 recently renovated guestrooms and suites, with Stillwater Spa, a 24-hour StayFit gym and a three-acre water park with a lazy river and water slides. Big Hickory Island, reached from the resort, carries a white sand beach.
The event space is where the new remit lands. The release gives 82,000 square feet of newly renovated meeting space in one paragraph and more than 82,500 square feet of flexible event space, 42,000 square feet of it outdoors, in the next. The Calusa Ballroom and Terrace accounts for 14,000 square feet, and the Banyan Courtyard provides a garden setting. Restaurants include Tanglewood, Southern Kitchen and Tarpon Bay, with Mangroves and Cool Beans for casual dining.
The release gives no effective date for the appointment, no predecessor in the role and no team size for the division.
