What The Release Carries For Revenue Teams

The announcement publishes no opening date, no rate position and no booking window. The 122 keys sit in the pipeline until the property opens. Revenue and distribution teams have the key count, the brand and the state count from this release.

IHCL describes panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The food and beverage set runs to an all-day diner, a speciality restaurant and a bar. The wellness set covers a swimming pool, a fitness centre and a spa. A banqueting space of more than 9,000 square feet and versatile meeting rooms will serve weddings and social events.

The Destination Behind The Rate Case

Alwar sits in eastern Rajasthan. IHCL names the Bala Quila, also called the Alwar Fort, and the City Palace as the destination's landmarks. It names the Sariska Tiger Reserve and Siliserh Lake among the natural attractions. The release cites the city's cultural heritage and its proximity to the National Capital Region as the basis for the signing.

Rajasthan Moves To 74 Hotels And 32 In Development

IHCL will hold 74 hotels in Rajasthan after the addition. Thirty-two of them are under development. The count is the company's own. IHCL's Gateway resort in Bharatpur, announced on 19 May 2026, put the state position at 67 hotels with 24 under development. That is seven more hotels in Rajasthan and eight more in development across the four and a half months between the two announcements.

The Gateway Platform Behind The Signing

Gateway is a brand IHCL re-launched, and it marked its second anniversary in 2026. Leah Tata, Vice President and Brand Leader for Gateway Hotels & Resorts at IHCL, said the brand has built momentum across leisure and commercial markets. She said Gateway serves as the gateway to the destination. IHCL's second-anniversary Gateway signing was a 104-key hotel in Agartala, and the company put the brand above 60 hotels at that point with a stated target of 100 hotels by 2030.
