The Booking Question for the Week
The Indiana Convention Center posts a forecast attendance of 2,000 for the Indiana Green Expo on 8 to 10 February 2027. February 8 is a Monday and February 10 a Wednesday. The venue gives downtown Indianapolis 7,100 hotel rooms, of which 4,700 connect to the centre by skywalk.
Two further events share the window. The Indiana Health and Safety Conference and Expo runs 7 to 10 February with a forecast of 850. The Core-Mark Expo runs 10 to 11 February with 1,500.
The Block and Its Cut-Off
The 2026 cycle ran its room block through the Westin Indianapolis, the headquarter hotel at 241 W Washington St and across the street from the convention centre. The organiser's hotel page carried a cut-off of 23 January 2026. That block's reservation page now reads that the event is closed to new reservations.
The organiser states that a stay at the headquarter hotel matters to the event and to each participating not-for-profit organisation. No page in the organiser's set carries a 2027 block, a 2027 cut-off date or a 2027 rate.
The Rate Month the Dates Land In
Engine puts the Indianapolis average at $128 a night across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. February averages $107, which is 16% below the city average, and May averages $158, which is 23% above it. The city ranks 39 of 50 markets, 14% below the $148 median, with rates swinging 32% across the year.
The table measures par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search, observed 10 to 180 days before check-in.
The Volume the Forecast Sizes
Two nights at the 2,000 forecast equals 4,000 room nights, which is 56% of the published downtown base. Three nights equals 6,000 room nights, or 85% of it. The forecast has read 2,000 on the venue's event page for three February editions running.
The organiser's past-edition page dates the 2026 expo to 9-11 February, 2025 to 10-12 February, 2024 to 17-19 January, 2023 to 30 January to 1 February, 2022 to 24-26 January, 2021 as a virtual edition from 18 January to 5 February, 2020 to 11-13 February and 2019 to 9-11 January.
The Show Floor Behind the Block
The organiser's 2026 exhibitor page reads 150-plus exhibitors and over 2,000 visitors, with the trade show in Hall D. The venue's facility guide gives Hall D 46,800 square feet and 205 booths, and Hall F 52,000 square feet and 248 booths. No page names a hall for 2027.

The venue's forecast is a published estimate. No source in the set presents it as a block, a contracted rate or a booking.
