Outrigger names Brian Regula chief financial officer
Outrigger Hospitality Group named Brian Regula chief financial officer, effective 21 September 2026. The Honolulu company published the appointment in its own newsroom on 24 September 2026 as release number 44 | 26.
Regula will lead financial strategy and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Outrigger ties the role to strategic, financial and operational initiatives that strengthen the group's revenue performance.
The remit
Outrigger described the chief financial officer position around three duties. The first is financial strategy. The second is data-driven decision-making across the organization. The third is a set of strategic, financial and operational initiatives aimed at the group's revenue performance.
The announcement does not split the remit between property-level and corporate work. It attaches no portfolio figure to the role.
Regula's background
Regula brings more than 20 years of senior finance leadership across multi-property, multi-brand hospitality portfolios. He joins Outrigger from Pyramid Global Hospitality, where he served as senior vice president of finance operations over a portfolio of more than 130 hotels. That role carried balance sheet management and optimization across the portfolio.
Regula served as vice president of finance at Turtle Bay Resort. He was director of finance at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. Earlier in his career he was senior vice president of finance at Cipriani, an international luxury dining and hospitality group.
Wagoner on the appointment
Jeff Wagoner, president and chief executive officer of Outrigger Hospitality Group, tied Regula's finance record to his ties to the islands. "Brian's deep experience in hospitality finance, combined with his strong ties to Hawaii, makes him an ideal fit to help lead Outrigger's next chapter," Wagoner said. "His track record of driving performance across large, complex portfolios will be a tremendous asset as we continue advancing our mission to be the premier beach resort company in the world."
The appointment takes effect 21 September 2026. The chief financial officer seat is the only appointment named in the release.
