The appointment
The Seed has appointed Amy Lingga chief executive officer. The villa estate occupies 6,400 square metres of oceanfront and jungle-backed land at Candidasa, on Bali’s east coast.
Hotelier Indonesia reported the appointment on 23 September 2026. TTG Asia carried it on 1 October 2026.
The record she brings
The announcement gives Lingga more than 20 years across luxury and international chain properties in Indonesia. She has worked chiefly at Marriott International, including pre-opening work across several of its brands.
Her Bali hotel experience covers Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Seminyak; Fairfield by Marriott Bali, South Kuta; The Ritz-Carlton, Bali; Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort; Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel; Kayumanis Private Villa & Spa; and The Legian, Seminyak.
Her path runs from guest-facing luxury service into public relations, then sales and marketing, then general management and multi-property leadership.
The announcement records that she has mentored more than 25 female leaders in Marriott International Asia Pacific. It names her Courtyard’s Direct Sales Leader of the Year in 2017 and her team’s Marriott global Property Sales Team of the Year award in 2019. She holds a degree from Cornell University and is studying for an MBA at Central Queensland University Australia.
Lingga is Balinese, with family roots in Karangasem, the regency that holds Candidasa.
The expansion plan
Candidasa stays the flagship. The brand says it will translate its approach to place, design and service into each new site.
Lingga framed the mandate in the announcement. “Our focus is to protect that core experience while carrying that same level of distinction into new destinations across Indonesia,” she said.
Her near-term work covers the estate’s signature details, its concept, and a move to open it to individual villa bookings.
Guests book a single villa or buy out the estate, which holds up to 21 people. Weddings, retreats and celebrations run to 100 guests.
