Valencia Collection takes a shorter corporate name across eight hotels

Valencia Collection has taken the shorter corporate form at eight independent hotels in Texas and California. The change drops Hotel from the outgoing name Valencia Hotel Collection, and every property keeps its own name.

Valencia Collection Drops Hotel From the Corporate Name

Valencia Collection has taken the shorter corporate form. The Houston operator had traded as Valencia Hotel Collection, and its portfolio holds eight independent hotels in Texas and California.

The announcement describes a new name, a visual identity and a brand platform. Each property keeps its established name and its own character. The umbrella takes the shorter corporate form.

Two superseded domains still resolve. valenciahotelcollection.com returns a 301 redirect to the collection site, and valenciahotelgroup.com returns a 301 redirect to the development site. The live collection site serves the title Home - Valencia Collection, an og:site_name value of Valencia Collection, and a Valencia Collection 2026 copyright line.

The Identity Set

The announcement describes four parts to the identity set: a refined wordmark, a new emblem, an expanded color palette and a co-branding system.

The co-branding system is the structural piece of the decision. The collection’s own journal shows the new form in use. Recent entries style properties as Caravan Court by Valencia Collection and Hotel Valencia Riverwalk by Valencia Collection.

The journal keeps its older category labels too. Court Hotels by Valencia Hotel Group and Valencia Hotel Group still appear among the taxonomy terms on the page.

A community item carries the corporate name in the new form. Valencia Collection presents a $5,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities, marking the close of its summer giveback, Poptails with a Purpose.

Eight Hotels, Seven of Them in Texas

The collection lists eight properties with their locations. Seven sit in Texas: Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texican Court in Irving, Caravan Court in Arlington, Cotton Court in Lubbock, Lone Star Court in Austin, Cavalry Court in College Station and The George in College Station.

Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, California, is the eighth. The journal dates the first two properties to 2003: Hotel Valencia Riverwalk opened along San Antonio’s River Walk in January, and Hotel Valencia Santana Row opened in San Jose that July. A journal post from November 2023 named Cotton Court in Lubbock as the then-latest addition, which places Caravan Court as the newest property on the list.

Valencia Development Sits Behind the Collection

The development arm carries a separate name and site. That site prints the line Valencia Development is the Powerhouse behind Valencia Collection.

The same site publishes portfolio figures. Total keys developed and managed: 2,995. Active keys and assets under management: 1,602 keys and $519 million. Collection hotels branded and designed in house: 11.

Its scope line reads more than 17 properties across Texas and California, and soon Arizona.

The design claim is the company’s own. The site states that the company brands and designs every hotel in the collection in house, and it lists identity, interiors and guest experience among the elements developed together.

The Earlier Rebrand

The company’s own journal dates an earlier rebrand to 16 November 2023, in a post marking twenty years as an independent boutique hotel operator. That post names Doyle Graham, Jr. as founder, president and chief executive.

The 2023 announcement described the change then as a move to the name Valencia Collection. The collection kept the longer address valenciahotelcollection.com until this year’s change.

The 2026 move drops the word Hotel from the corporate form. Properties that carry the Hotel Valencia wordmark in their own names keep it.

What the Record Does Not Carry

No ninth property is announced. The development arm’s scope line names Arizona as a future market with no site, no room count and no date attached.

The company’s own pages carry no completion date for the co-branding roll-out across the eight hotels.
