JLL Arranges Three-Year Loan for AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront

JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group arranged a three-year loan with two one-year extension options for the 150-key AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront at 333 W. Columbia Way in Vancouver, Washington. Vesta Hospitality is the borrower.

JLL arranged refinancing for the AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront, a 150-key hotel at 333 W. Columbia Way in Vancouver, Washington. Vesta Hospitality is the borrower.

The loan runs three years and carries two one-year extension options. JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group handled the assignment. Managing Director Adrienne Andrews led the team, with Analyst Jessica Mehra alongside her.

The Term

The base term and the two options set the outer limit at five years. From an October 2026 close, that limit lands in October 2031.

The release gives the structure of all three periods and publishes no pricing on any of them.

The Collateral

The hotel operates on a ground lease with the Port of Vancouver USA. JLL places the property along the Columbia River waterfront inside a Qualified Opportunity Zone.

The release states no lease term, no ground rent and no extension right on the lease. It gives no loan amount and names no lender.

Vesta developed the property and self-manages it, so company and borrower are one entity. JLL describes Vesta as a Vancouver-based hotel owner, developer and operator founded in 1996.

Terminal 1

The hotel opened in June 2022 as the first completed project within Terminal 1, the Port of Vancouver USA's waterfront redevelopment.

The district carries office, hospitality, residential, retail and public gathering space. JLL lists office developments, public waterfront improvements and planned retail and entertainment destinations as the investment around the hotel.

The property sits on Interstate 5, minutes from downtown Portland, Portland International Airport and regional attractions. JLL places Vancouver inside the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area with an employment base across technology, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, logistics and professional services.

Two Hotel Measures

The release gives 150 guestrooms and 11,720 square feet of meeting space. That works out to 78.1 square feet of meeting space per key.

The property carries an outdoor amenity deck, structured parking, a fitness center, spa and wellness facilities, and Ondus, a Pacific Northwest Mediterranean restaurant that opened in 2025.

JLL calls the hotel upscale and gives its height as seven stories.

What the Release Withholds

No loan amount, lender, interest rate, spread or loan-to-value ratio appears in the release. It carries no occupancy, no average daily rate and no revenue per available room.

No per-key loan basis and no debt yield follow from that document.

The Borrower's Case

Rick Takach, chief executive officer of Vesta Hospitality, described the lender canvass. "Adrienne Andrews brought deep expertise in hotel capital markets, conducting a thorough canvas of the lending landscape and presenting a comprehensive range of financing options," he said.

Andrews tied the financing to the sponsor's hold plan. "This financing supports Vesta Hospitality's long-term vision for the asset, and the continued growth of Vancouver's waterfront redevelopment," she said.

Two Dates

JLL published the release on 8 October 2026. Hotel News Resource carried it on 19 October 2026.

JLL reports annual revenue of $26.1 billion and operations in more than 80 countries.
