The gate clock the walk publishes
The St. Jude Walk Miami ran on Saturday 26 September 2026 at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition Center, 10901 SW 24th Street. The event page reports $570,360 raised against a $650,000 goal, with 2,598 participants in 261 teams. The published clock reads 6:30 a.m. gate, 7:30 a.m. opening ceremony and 8:00 a.m. walk start.
Registration is closed. The page carries one live action: donate.
Ninety minutes at 28.87 arrivals a minute
The gate window runs 90 minutes. That is 28.87 participants a minute at the entrance, and 9.95 participants per team.
The venue's Main Entrance Building carries 28 enclosed ticket windows across two floors, with an indoor catwalk and air conditioning. The window count and the arrival rate are the two published numbers a desk plans against.
The night before carries a 6:30 a.m. gate
A 6:30 a.m. gate sits inside the previous night's stay. A desk that accepts the walk booking sells Friday 25 September and holds the room against a departure that lands before the 8 a.m. start.
The event page carries one dated edition and no later date. The booking calendar holds one night of demand for this event.
What the venue roster says about coverage
The venue's own volunteer page states 800-plus volunteers who donate more than 86,000 hours a year. That is 107.5 hours per head across the year.
More than 120 of them hold medical roles: nurses, paramedics, doctors, firefighters and emergency medical technicians, all with American Red Cross First Responder Certification. The medical corps is 15 percent of the roster.
Across the Youth Fair's 21 open days the annual hours divide to 4,095 a day, or 5.12 hours per volunteer per fair day. A desk staffing a 2,598-person morning writes its coverage line from the same three numbers: headcount, hours and the credential the role requires.
The forward calendar sets the booking windows
The Fair Expo Center board lists 52 dated records through 7 November 2027. Two tenancies hold the grounds for weeks at a time. Sounds of Screams runs 24 September to 1 November 2026. Nights of Lights runs 27 November to 31 December 2026, 35 calendar days.
The Youth Fair runs 18 March to 11 April 2027. The venue dates it at 21 days every spring, with 29-30 March and 5-6 April excepted. The venue books more than 70 events a year on 86 acres.
The booking terms the record carries
The walk page publishes a closed registration and an open donation line. The venue calendar carries no listing for the walk.
The room block, the room-night count and the group rate sit off the published record, with the organiser. The Fair Expo Center contact is Sira Camilo, Director, at (786) 315-5266 and scamilo@fairexpo.com. The exhibits desk belongs to Claudia Hernandez, Director, Exhibits.
What a reservations desk does with the window
Write the departure clock into the rate. A guest leaves for a 6:30 a.m. gate before 6 a.m.
Hold the room against the gate and set the release cut for the night before. The venue publishes the gate. The desk publishes the release.
Put the arrival window in the group contract. The walk's own clock, 6:30 to 8:00 a.m., is the published number the contract can cite.
