Hilton opened The Den Bengaluru as an LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel on 13 October 2026. The property is the brand's first in India. It holds 226 keys in Whitefield, a business and technology district in the city's east.
Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. owns the hotel. Hilton manages it. The property traded as The Den from 2017, so the LXR agreement adds a brand and a distribution system to rooms that were already open.
Saxena on the India Pipeline
Zubin Saxena, Hilton's senior vice president and regional head for South Asia, put the opening inside the group's growth plan for the country.
"India is one of Hilton's most important growth markets, and the emerging expectations of the country's luxury traveller are creating significant opportunity for brands that offer individual and experience-led stays," he said.
He called Bengaluru a natural market for the next phase of growth and cited its global connections, its culture and its community of travellers.
The Collection Pitch
Dino Michael, senior vice president and category head for Hilton Luxury, described the brand as a set of hand-selected hotels. "Each has its own story, character and point of view," he said. He placed the Bengaluru opening inside that frame as the brand's entry to a city with a large creative and corporate base.
Rooms, Events and Dining
The hotel gives more than 21,000 square feet of event space across seven venues: a ballroom, an auditorium, meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre. The release's FAQ lists five dining and social venues: Layla, The Creek, The Nest, The Deli and The Cold Press. The release's body names four and leaves out The Nest.
Wellness covers The Sanctuary spa, The Studio fitness center and an outdoor pool. The Playhouse holds digital tabletop games and a pool table. The Cave is a screening room.
Programming
Two programs make the first phase. The Pause Program puts a sleep kit, a pillow menu and a calm arrival into the stay. Whitefield Unscripted runs a heritage bungalow trail and a farm visit.
The Owner's Side
Dan Hotels describes itself as Israel's most established luxury hotel chain. The chain lists 16 hotels in Israel, NoMo SoHo in New York and The Den Bengaluru. The Bengaluru hotel is the second property the chain runs outside Israel.
Brand and Group Scale
Hilton describes LXR as a collection of luxury hotels with more than 40 trading and pipeline properties. The figure is the brand's own and carries no date.
Hilton's corporate copy counts 28 brands, more than 9,400 properties, nearly 1.4 million rooms, 144 countries and territories, and 260 million Hilton Honors members. The Den Bengaluru joins Hilton Honors, so members earn and redeem points on stays.
