SF Restaurant Week 2026: Ten Price Points and One Booking Window

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs 16-25 October across 179 listed restaurants, 151 of which carry a booking control. The published ladder runs from $15 to $90.

Two ladders, ten price points

Fall SF Restaurant Week publishes two price ladders and ten points in total. A brunch or lunch menu holds at least two items or courses and sits at $15, $25, $35 or $45. A dinner menu holds at least three items or courses and sits at $30, $45, $60, $75 or $90. The organiser's about page words the choice as "at one or more the following price points", so one restaurant may list several.

The window is Friday 16 October to Sunday 25 October 2026, ten consecutive days. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association, founded 1936, runs the programme as a San Francisco non-profit 501(c)6 of restaurant members.

The booking window holds four weekend nights

Four of the ten nights are Friday or Saturday: 16, 17, 23 and 24 October. Six are Sunday to Thursday: 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 25 October.

Registration required current GGRA membership, and the published deadline for registration, menus and photographs was Monday 28 September 2026. The FAQ states the programme is open to any restaurant whatever reservation platform it uses.

Where a booking can be placed

On a 14 October read the live list carried 179 records. Of those, 151 carry a booking control: 124 resolve to OpenTable, six to Resy and 21 to other hosts including Tock, SevenRooms and the restaurants' own sites. Twenty-eight records carry no booking control.

The programme publishes no booking volume, and the split describes where a reservation can be placed.

Where the roster sits on the ladder

Day-side mentions total 110 across 98 records: $15 six, $25 47, $35 33 and $45 24. Dinner mentions total 169 across 159 records: $30 18, $45 45, $60 45, $75 46 and $90 15.

The middle of the dinner ladder carries most of the list. The $45, $60 and $75 points hold 136 of the 169 dinner mentions, and $25 and $35 hold 80 of the 110 day-side mentions.

What the hotel rooms price at

Eight records tie to a hotel operation. Seven name their property through the website link on the record and one names it on the record itself.

Four of the eight publish a $60 dinner. Anzu carries Dinner $60 at Hotel Nikko San Francisco, Monte's Bar carries Dinner $60 at the Omni San Francisco, Orafo carries Lunch $35 and Dinner $60 at the Four Seasons Embarcadero, and The Post Room carries Brunch $25, Lunch $25 and Dinner $60 at the Beacon Grand.

Bistro 888 carries Brunch $35, Lunch $35 and Dinner $75 at the InterContinental San Francisco. Blue Mermaid Restaurant & Bar carries Lunch $35 and Dinner $45 at the Argonaut Hotel. Campton Bar + Bistro carries Lunch $35 at Taj Campton Place. Astra carries Brunch $45 and Dinner $90 at The St. Regis San Francisco.

One room reaches the $90 dinner ceiling and one reaches the $45 day-side ceiling. The $15 day-side point and the $30 dinner point carry none of the eight.

The ceilings per cover

The minimum item counts are published, so each ladder's top point converts into a per-item figure. A two-item menu at $45 allows $22.50 an item, and a three-item dinner at $90 allows $30 an item. The floors are $7.50 an item at the $15 day-side point and $10 an item at the $30 dinner point.

Measured across both ladders, the per-item band runs from $7.50 to $30. A menu holding more than the minimum lowers the per-item figure at the same price. For a hotel room weighing a $60 dinner at three items, the arithmetic is $20 an item.

The citywide rate line

Engine's San Francisco page puts the market average at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with October at $176, seven percent above that average, and 35 percent separating the cheapest month from the priciest. It ranks the market 18 of 50.

What the programme publishes, and what it does not

The kitchen FAQ lists the formats an operator can price inside the menu or beside it: "Lunch or dinner for two", "Meal kits" and "Beverage pairings (either included in the cost of the menu or offered as supplemental items)". A beverage pairing offered as a supplemental item sits outside the headline price.

The programme publishes no room block, no hotel rate, no room-night figure and no check average for any participating room. Questions go to ggra@ggra.org.
