The block terms
The host block sits at the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis, 350 W Maryland Avenue, at $229 a night. The show's hotel page sets a booking deadline of 25 September 2026, 17 days before the first night. Management states it expects the blocks to sell out well in advance.
The same page asks attendees to book only the rooms they will use. It states that late cancellations near the meeting date could carry a penalty to the Metal Treating Institute for unused contracted rooms. The attrition sits with the association, and the release of unsold rooms sits with the hotel.
