Innisbrook Names Robyn Cooper Director of Sales and Marketing

Innisbrook Resort has named Robyn Cooper as Director of Sales and Marketing. She moves from Aimbridge Hospitality, where the appointment release credits her with a 55-hotel portfolio.

Innisbrook Resort named Robyn Cooper as Director of Sales and Marketing. eHotelier carried the appointment on 18 September 2026.

Cooper brings more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience to the role. Her career runs through sales, marketing and revenue optimisation programmes. The appointment adds a commercial executive to the resort’s leadership team, and the resort’s own meet-the-team page carries her in the seat.

The move from Aimbridge

Cooper joins from Aimbridge Hospitality, where she was Regional Vice President of Commercial Strategy. The appointment release states that the role covered a portfolio of 55 hotels and generated more than $325 million in annual revenue. Earlier roles took her through GF Management, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Marshall Hotels & Resorts and Hampton Inn, each in sales and marketing.

Both figures are the release’s own count. Trade coverage dated 18 September repeats them. Aimbridge runs hotels on behalf of owners and sells commercial performance among its services, which places Cooper’s former remit inside a third-party management platform.

The property she now sells

Innisbrook sits at 36750 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor, Florida. The resort covers 600 acres on Florida’s Gulf Coast, a short drive from Tampa.

Four golf courses carry the property: Copperhead, Island, North and South. The resort counts more than 23,000 yards of golf across them. Copperhead hosts the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship, and the closing stretch trades under the name the Snake Pit.

Accommodation runs from deluxe double queen guestrooms through junior, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites to a presidential suite. Six pools include the Loch Ness Pool. Dining holds five outlets: Packard’s Steakhouse, Market Salamander Grille & Bar, Turnberry Pub, Loch Ness Grill and Fairways.

Where the role lands

Director of sales and marketing carries group and leisure demand at the resort. A PGA TOUR week fills the Copperhead calendar. The rest of the year runs on suites, pools, spa and dining.

The release ties the hire to three priorities at the resort: enhancing guest and member experience, elevating programming, and strengthening its position with Florida leisure and golf guests. The release also describes a people-first leadership style and the mentoring of future leaders.

The appointment lands while Innisbrook is publishing rate offers of its own. A last-minute escape offer advertises up to 35 percent off for short-notice stays.

Cooper’s Aimbridge remit covered commercial strategy across 55 hotels, by the release’s account. Innisbrook now asks her to run that discipline at a single 600-acre property.
