One Block, Two Nights, 950 on the Venue’s Forecast
The Midwest Multifamily Conference runs Thursday 15 October from 7:30 a.m. EDT to Friday 16 October at 5:00 p.m. EDT at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue. The venue publisher, ICCLOS, forecasts 950 attendees on its event page. The Indiana Apartment Association’s own stat block reads 3,000+ association attendees beside 16 industry topics, 20 breakout sessions and 8+ hours of networking.
Registration opens at the desk outside Hall H at 7:30 a.m. Thursday and 8:00 a.m. Friday. The trade show floor in Hall H runs 1:45 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday and 12:45 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, six hours in total.
The Block Closed With No Rate Published
The association reserved rooms at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland St., and set the discounted-rate deadline at 14 September 2026. The travel page publishes no rate.
The housing site behind the booking link reads “WEBSITE IS NOW CLOSED” and states that the event is closed to new reservations. It routes guests to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown desk at 317-822-3500 and gives the hotel’s address as 350 West Maryland Street.
The room side of this group now sells through the hotel’s own channel, at the hotel’s own price, inside the last week before arrival.
The Stay Window Runs a Day Longer Than the Programme
The housing page header carries a stay window of 14 to 16 October. The programme runs 15 to 16 October. The extra night is Wednesday, and the 7:30 a.m. Thursday registration desk is the reason the organiser opened it.
The city’s published contracts for the same fortnight sit beside it. The Marriott Downtown lists USD 229 a night as the host hotel of Metal Treating Institute Furnaces North America, with a booking deadline of 25 September. The Crowne Plaza Downtown Union Station lists USD 214 a night with its reduced-rate cutoff extended to 25 September. The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis lists USD 229 a night with a reserve-by date of 18 September. The Crowne Plaza and the Hyatt Regency both connect to the convention center through indoor walking tunnels.
Engine puts the Indianapolis citywide average at USD 128 a night across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. October reads USD 134 on the same page, which are par rates, the cheapest public price at the time of each search.
What the Plans Do to the Room Nights
The plan ladder sets the nights each registrant needs. Plan A covers both days and the awards dinner at USD 662 for members and USD 858 for non-members. Plan B covers Thursday only at USD 417 and USD 534. Plan C covers Friday only at the same prices. Plans E and F sell trade show access for one day at USD 66 and USD 98. Plan G, the maintenance package, covers Friday lunch, one afternoon seminar, the floor and the MESH social hour at USD 233 and USD 301.
Single-day plans and floor-only plans produce same-day attendance inside the 950. The organiser states that plans cannot be shared between people, and that supplier members must exhibit at the trade show to attend at all.
Plan D admits one attendee to the awards dinner alone at USD 251 and USD 326, and it closes 13 October at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Every other plan closes 14 October at 12:00 p.m. EDT.
The Release Ladder the Organiser Publishes
Cancellation requests go in writing to the association. A cancellation after 25 September returns 50 per cent of the fee, and a cancellation after 6 October returns nothing. Substitutions after 6 October carry a USD 25 service charge, including substitutions made at onsite registration on 15 and 16 October. Substitutions need written authorisation from the original registrant.
Two dates therefore govern the room count. Refunds stop on 6 October, and registration closes on 14 October at noon.
The Demand Sitting on 15 October
The venue’s event feed lists the Best Practices Expo and Conference at 1,200 across 13 to 15 October and the Midwest Multifamily Conference at 950 across 15 and 16 October. The two together carry 2,150 forecast attendees, which is 30.3 per cent of the venue’s published 7,100 downtown rooms.
The room stock behind that number is 4,700 rooms connected to the convention center by skywalk, per the venue. The venue reports 200 restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport.
Lucas Oil Stadium lists the Bands of America Super Regionals on 16 and 17 October and the Colts against the Tennessee Titans on 18 October. A Saturday morning checkout feeds that weekend.
What the Two Nights Are Worth to a Booking Team
Four published clocks govern this group. The block’s discounted deadline passed on 14 September. The housing site closed to new reservations and took the block’s rate with it. Refunds stop on 6 October. Registration closes on 14 October at noon.
Price the Wednesday night before the block opens, because the organiser has already sent that guest to the hotel’s own channel.
