A Flat $95 Puts a Technician on the MWHCEC Floor for a Day

The organiser's pass table splits on September 14 and prices a Technician Training pass at $95 in both windows. The block commits Sunday and Monday at The Westin Indianapolis.

The Roster and the Pass Table

The organiser's attendee list names healthcare facility managers, healthcare engineers, plant operations professionals, facility directors, safety and compliance professionals, construction and design teams, environmental services leaders, and industry partners and vendors.

The pass table carries four lines across two windows that split on September 14. An All Access Pass costs $340 before that date and $380 after. A Monday Only pass and a Tuesday Only pass each cost $255 before and $295 after. A Technician Training pass costs $95 in both windows.

The $95 is 27.9 percent of the pre-cut-off All Access price and 25.0 percent of the post-cut-off price. The table carries no team rate and no group discount.

Registration opened June 11, per the organiser's home page. The organiser's own line on the event reads that the conference gives cost-effective access so a facility can afford to bring its entire team, technicians included.

The Booking Windows and the Cancellation Terms

The organiser's FAQ carries the cancellation policy. Refunds come less a $100 administrative fee for cancellations before October 2, 2026. No refunds follow that date. Requests go in writing to mwhcec@raybourn.com. Registrations transfer between individuals at the same company. The policy excludes sponsorships.

The block sits at The Westin Indianapolis, 241 West Washington Street, at $179 per night plus taxes and applicable fees. Visit Indy's connected-hotels page gives the property 575 sleeping rooms and 42,500 square feet of meeting space.

The organiser's schedule commits the Sunday and the Monday. The Tuesday programme closes at 3:00 PM and the grid carries no Tuesday evening function, so the third night stays open.

Front Desk Cover Across Three Days

The registration desk publishes two windows. Monday runs 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, a span of 9.5 hours. Tuesday runs 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, a span of 9.0 hours.

Sunday runs 3.5 hours from the 3:00 PM pre-conference session to the close of the reception at 6:30 PM.

Monday's published activity runs from the 7:00 AM desk opening to the close of free time at 10:00 PM, a span of 15 hours. Tuesday's runs from a 7:30 AM desk opening to free time ending at 5:00 PM, a span of 9.5 hours.

A facility releasing one technician covers a Sunday arrival and a Tuesday release. The two committed nights are Sunday and Monday.

The Three Tech Training Sessions

The organiser badges three sessions Tech Training. Room 125 runs "When Pressure Goes Wrong: Diagnosing and Correcting Pressurization Failures in Healthcare Facilities" in the Tuesday 8:00-8:45 AM slot for 1 CEU. Room 125 runs "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: Water Damage & Mold" in the Tuesday 10:30-11:30 AM slot for 1 CEU. The Trade Show Hall runs "Water Management Programs" at 2:30-3:00 PM on the Tuesday for 0.5 CEU.

The three total 2.5 of the 11 contact hours the organiser publishes. The pass table states the price and no day coverage.

The Contact-Hour Record

The organiser publishes approval for 11 contact hours: 1.5 on Sunday, 6 on Monday and 3.5 on Tuesday. The same page states approval by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, hour reporting for LEED credential holders, and recognition by the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers.

Attendance runs through the conference app. A check-in code is provided at the start of each session, the app builds an attendance transcript, and the attendee can email it for CEU reporting at the end.

The Approval Letter and Its Blank Lines

The attendee page carries one line on employer approval and links a one-page justification letter. The letter addresses a supervisor and leaves cost lines blank for convention registration, hotel and accommodations, flight or mileage at an IRS standard of $0.72 per mile, and a total investment. It lists the Leadership Pre-Con Session as free and included in the All Access Pass. It commits the attendee to a full report of key takeaways on return.

The letter states that attendance will allow the reader to earn up to 10 continuing education credits. The schedule page publishes 11 contact hours.

The Case for One Day on the Floor

Training magazine's 2025 Training Industry Report puts U.S. training expenditure at $102.8 billion, up 4.9 percent. Other training expenditures, the line covering travel, facilities and equipment, fell to $22.1 billion from $25 billion. Average expenditure at large companies fell from $13.3 million to $11.7 million. The survey reports 25 percent of respondents setting the budget, 35 percent managing requests for proposals and bids, 68 percent recommending the purchase, and 21 percent holding the final purchase decision.

Some 41 percent of respondents named lack of resources or personnel as their biggest training challenge.

For a facility sending one technician, the published cost is $95 flat in either window. The published return is 2.5 of 11 contact hours across three badged sessions and an attendance transcript the app builds.
