The block in one window
The National Science Teaching Association fall convention runs 4 to 7 November 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center. The venue forecasts 4,000 attendees. NSTA routes every reservation through IMN Solutions, its official housing provider, and takes them first-come on a space-available basis. All reservations must arrive by 11 October 2026 to guarantee availability and conference rates. After that date the organiser states that reservations are made on availability and that hotels may charge higher rates.
Thirteen properties, thirteen rates

The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown holds the headquarters flag at 269 dollars. The spread between the 189 dollar floor and the 279 dollar ceiling is 90 dollars a night for the same four nights, or 360 dollars across the run for a room held at each end of the ladder.
The walk and the connected stock
The organiser states that NSTA will provide no shuttle between the conference hotels and the convention center. The venue publishes 7,100 downtown hotel rooms, more than half of them within blocks of the center and Lucas Oil Stadium, and 4,700 connected to the building by skywalk. The venue states that the facility and skywalk hours are event-dependent, with a rule of thumb of lock-down at approximately 11:00 p.m. and reopening at approximately 6:00 a.m. The organiser publishes no shuttle, so the walk sits in the delegate's own plan.
The nights the clocks support
The convention runs Wednesday to Saturday. The ticketed Professional Learning Institutes open at 8:00 a.m. on the Wednesday and the Leadership Development Academy at 8:15 a.m., so the Tuesday night 3 November serves an early arrival. The Saturday closes the expo hall at 1:00 p.m. and the closing reception at 3:00 p.m., so a Saturday checkout leaves after the last published function.
The four nights run Tuesday through Friday, with the Saturday departure. The 189 dollar property and the 279 dollar property carry the same four nights.
The channel warning
The housing page warns that attendees and exhibitors may receive unsolicited offers from third-party housing companies with no affiliation to NSTA. It advises against booking with them and asks the recipient to forward the contact to nstahousing@imnsolutions.com. It states that unauthorised companies often carry hidden fees and charge a card in full at booking, and that only NSTA Housing carries the conference rates and secure transactions.
The weekend that closes the block
The venue's event feed carries the convention center's November book. The center has no booking between the close of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Conference on 31 October and the NSTA open on 4 November. Friday 6 November carries the Monumental Health and Fitness Expo in Exhibit Hall A-B at a forecast 20,000. The feed then lists the Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference and Trade Show from 8 to 10 November at 600, the IU Health Leadership Development Institute on 10 November at 2,200, the Percussive Arts Society International Convention from 11 to 14 November at 5,200, and the ASHA Convention from 19 to 21 November at 13,500.
Lucas Oil Stadium next door lists the ISSMA State Marching Band Finals on 7 November at 9:30 a.m. and a Colts home game against the Dallas Cowboys on 8 November at 1:00 p.m.
A reservation inside the block before 11 October holds a rate for the four nights. A reservation after that date meets the Friday expo forecast of 20,000 and the two stadium crowds on the weekend.
