The Block Runs Eight Nights
PASIC 2026 runs November 11 to 14 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue. The venue forecasts 5,200 attendees. The Percussive Arts Society's FAQ states more than 7,800 people attended PASIC in 2025.
The official housing block carries 16 downtown properties through MCI USA, the organiser's housing bureau. Fifteen of the 16 publish a rate, from $158 to $252 a night.
The Dates a Reservation Has to Fit
Inventory opens November 8 on six of the 16 properties. The other ten open November 9. Inventory closes November 16 across all 16. Eight nights sit inside that span. The window opens three nights before the first session and closes two nights after the last one.
The convention itself runs four nights. Wednesday opens the programme, Saturday November 14 carries the closing concert at 6:00 PM, and the manifest departs on Sunday November 15.
The Close Dates Split
Fifteen properties take reservations to November 2. The Westin Indianapolis takes them to November 11. Access dates split the same way. Fifteen properties open to bookings on October 19, and The Westin opens on October 21.
The rate line is uniform across the block. State and local tax reads 17.0 percent on every property. Hyatt Regency Indianapolis adds a $1 Downtown District Fee per night plus tax. The cancellation term is also uniform: a guest must cancel at least 72 hours before check-in or pay one night's room and tax.
The Rate Ladder
Staybridge Suites Indianapolis Downtown Convention Center lists $158.00 at 0.52 miles from the venue. Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis Downtown Convention Center Area lists $159.00 at 0.43 miles. Hyatt Regency Indianapolis lists $207.00 at 0.18 miles. The Westin Indianapolis lists $215.00 at 0.03 miles. Indianapolis Marriott Downtown lists $242.00 at 0.07 miles. JW Marriott Indianapolis lists $252.00 at 0.12 miles. Hyatt Place Indianapolis Downtown publishes no rate and sits 0.32 miles out.
Several of the 16 property descriptions name a skywalk or indoor connection to the convention center. Hyatt Regency reads connected to the Convention Center. The Westin reads skywalk connection to the Convention Center. The JW Marriott record places the hotel among the five Marriott hotels linked to the Indiana Convention Center.
The Group Door Has Closed
The organiser's group request form covers November 8 to November 16 with a request deadline of 18 September 2026. That date has passed. A group that needs rooms inside the window now books at the property level.
The Manifest Shape
School and college ensembles hold a large share of the programme and arrive as units with a director. The Concert Chamber competition takes up to 30 university and college ensembles on Thursday November 12 and up to 20 high school ensembles on Friday November 13. The organiser marks both divisions full with a waitlist.
Ensemble entries carry a $100 registration fee. Badge options run at $50 per student or director for the competition day and $100 for the four-day badge. The Individual and Ensemble Competition runs Friday November 13 for high school and collegiate performers.
What Sits Behind the Booking Clock
Registration for PASIC closes October 29. Refunds run to the same date with a $50 cancellation fee. On-site badges cost $250 for students and $400 for non-students across four days, or $150 and $175 for a single day.
The convention center's November book runs close. The National Science Teaching Association Fall Convention takes November 4 to 7. The Monumental Health and Fitness Expo takes November 6. The Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference and Trade Show takes November 8 to 10, with the IU Health Leadership Development Institute on November 10. PASIC takes November 11 to 14.
