The four nights and the two counts
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers holds its 2026 National Convention at the Indiana Convention Center from Wednesday 28 October to Saturday 31 October. The venue publisher, ICCLOS, forecasts 15,000 attendees. The organiser's convention site states nearly 10,000 students, professionals, academics and industry leaders. Each figure carries its publisher.
Four nights carry the convention. A Wednesday arrival covers a registration desk that opens at 6 a.m. The Saturday close releases the block.

Nine properties carry negotiated rates on the organiser's housing page. Conrad Indianapolis $249, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown $269, Hyatt Regency Indianapolis $269 and JW Marriott Indianapolis $269. SpringHill Suites Indianapolis Downtown $214. Fairfield Indianapolis Downtown $194. The Westin Hotel Indianapolis, Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown and Omni Severin Hotel $189 each. The median rate is $214. Four nights run $756 at the $189 tier and $856 at the median.
Housing opened 11 August 2026. The name-change deadline was 15 September 2026. Housing closes 14 October 2026. Hotel-direct booking opens 21 October 2026. The organiser allocates rooms first-come, first-served and states that rooms may sell out before the housing deadline.
The registration ladder
Three windows price the attendance. Early bird closed 9 September at 5 p.m. ET. Regular registration closes 7 October at 5 p.m. ET. Late registration runs 8 October to 31 October and closes at 12 p.m. ET. A student ticket runs $345, $470 and $625 across the three windows. A professional ticket runs $480, $600 and $760. A non-member ticket runs $775, $860 and $960.
Bulk registration submissions close 1 October at 5 p.m. ET.
The venue base the nights draw on
The venue counts 7,100 hotel rooms downtown and 4,700 of them connected to the Center by skywalk. Skywalk lockdown runs at approximately 11 p.m. and reopening at approximately 6 a.m., and the venue calls that window event-dependent.
The venue calendar puts the National FFA Convention & Expo four days before this one, 21 to 24 October at a 70,000 forecast. The National Science Teaching Assn Fall Convention follows on 4 to 7 November at 4,000. Four days separate each pair of dates.
The clocks that close on Saturday
Every published clock on this convention closes on Saturday 31 October. Attendee registration runs 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Hall F. Exhibitor registration closes at 12 p.m. Interview booths run 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Hall BC. The career fair holds its last shared session from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Hall HIJ.
Housing closes two weeks before the opening desk opens. The next booking in the venue calendar opens four days after this one closes.
