The Youth Fair's 75th Edition Runs on a Calendar Wider Than 21 Days

The 2027 Youth Fair is the 75th edition, with student work in Arnold Hall and Edwards Hall across 21 open days from 18 March to 11 April. Four dates outside the run carry the travel: forms close 19 January, exhibits check in 7 and 9 March, and release runs 15 April.

The 2027 Youth Fair is the 75th edition. Student work fills Arnold Hall and Edwards Hall across 21 open days from 18 March to 11 April 2027 at 10901 Coral Way.

Four dates sit outside the public run, and they carry the travel: entry forms close 19 January, exhibits check in on 7 and 9 March, and check-out runs 15 April.

Four dates outside the gate

Entry-form registration closes 19 January 2027. Four divisions skip pre-entry and arrive at Arnold Hall on Tuesday 19 January between 4 and 7 PM with a completed form: Creative Writing, Child Development Books including ESOL, World Languages, and Fine Arts. The page states that no handwritten forms are accepted.

Every other student division checks in on Sunday 7 March from 10 AM to 4 PM, or on Tuesday 9 March from 4 to 8 PM. The venue calendar lists both dates as Exhibits Check-in for The Youth Fair 2027 in Arnold Hall.

Release runs Thursday 15 April from 4 to 8 PM. Work left after that window is discarded on Friday 16 April at 5 PM. The venue calendar carries 15 April as Exhibits Check-out and 16 April as the first day of Maker Faire Miami in the Fuchs Pavilion.

For a room desk, 7 and 9 March are two nights inside a fortnight when the fair has not opened. 15 April falls four days after the last gate day of 11 April.

Two halls, 113,521 square feet

Arnold Hall carries 77,940 square feet and a listed capacity of 7,460, with ceiling clearance from 20 to 26 feet and a floor load of 150 pounds per square foot. Edwards Hall carries 35,581 square feet and a listed capacity of 5,083, with clearance from 25 to 26 feet and the same floor load.

The pair holds 113,521 square feet and 12,543 in listed capacity.

The Showcase page describes the visit in one line: "Stroll through Arnold Hall and Edwards Hall and see thousands of exhibits on display."

43,000 projects against 44,500 students

The Community page counts projects: "more than 43,000 projects are displayed", alongside "tens of thousands of students" submitting work each year.

The About page counts students: "more than 44,500+ public, charter, private and home school students" in competition and exhibition with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Both figures belong to the organiser and measure different things. One counts work on display. The other counts students in the programme.

Five student categories, nine agriculture divisions, six cattle headings

The Exhibits page groups the student programme under five headings: Clubs, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Crafts and Culinary.

The Community page names its competitive divisions as culinary, fine arts, performing arts, technology education, fishing gear, fashion design and creative writing. The two pages come from one organiser and carry different lists.

The Youth Agriculture Exhibits page lists nine divisions: Horticulture, Landscape Design, Market Hog Show, Youth Registered Dairy Goat, Youth Lamb Show, Youth Market Steer Show, Youth Cavy Show, Youth Poultry Show and Youth Rabbit Show. The Exhibits hub shortens that to five, and the four livestock shows appear only on the division page.

Open Cattle Shows carry six headings: Angus; Brahman, with Red and Gray Brahman classes; Brangus/Ultra, with Black, Red and Ultra Brangus classes; Youth Brangus/Ultra, with the three matching youth classes; Dairy; and Limousin. The Exhibits hub names five and leaves out the youth group.

Eight entry forms and three names on the desk

The Student Exhibits page links eight forms: Teacher, Individual, Club for BSA Scouting, Girl Scouts and 4-H only, Performing Arts, Jack Griffith Playhouse, Fashion and Sketch Design, Culinary, and Fine Arts. Online submission sits beside them.

The contact block names Claudia Hernandez as Director of Exhibits, Lisette Manzanares as Administrator and Annie Febles-Vizcaino as Assistant.

Three performance areas

The Jack Griffith Playhouse carries student showcases and local community performers. The Performing Arts Center puts performing-arts students on the FIU Performing Arts Center stage for piano, vocal and instrumental categories.

The gate ladder behind the halls

The Schedule page gives an opening time for every date in the run. Thirteen open at noon and eight at 4 PM. Four carry the word CLOSED: 29 and 30 March, and 5 and 6 April.

The run holds four Saturdays and four Sundays, all on noon starts. The Friday and Saturday front gate closes at 11 PM or later, and the Sunday to Thursday gate at 10 PM or later.

Seventy-five editions, dated twice

The press archive files releases under tabs from 2019 to 2024. The March 2024 release names the theme of the 72nd edition as "Spaceventure". A February 2024 release reads "Now in its 72nd year".

Three editions on from 2024 gives 2027 as the 75th on an annual count. The same count puts the first edition in 1953.

The archive carries no release for 2025, 2026 or 2027. The Tickets page names the 75th Anniversary celebration, and the Exhibits page states a span of more than seven decades.

What a room desk books against

The programme supplies four dated movements: forms closing 19 January, check-in on 7 and 9 March, and release on 15 April. Each one puts staff, families or exhibitors on the grounds outside the 21 gate days.

Ask the organiser for the exhibitor count and the number of schools enrolled. Those two figures size the travel, and neither is published.
