Miami Grit Classic: A Four-Night Window With Two Deadlines

Two organiser deadlines and one Monday competition day define the four-night room window at the Miami Grit Classic, and no session time is published inside it.

Two deadlines hold the room window

The Miami Grit Classic runs 12-15 February 2027 at the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center in Miami. February 12 is a Friday and February 15 is a Monday.

The organiser publishes two dates that decide room demand. Standard entry closes Monday 2 November 2026. The fee moves from $190 to $200 after that date. Substitutions run to Wednesday 6 January 2027.

Read the substitution date as the last published point at which a team roster changes. A rate agreement signed before 6 January carries a room count the organiser has not published.

The two room-night shapes

Friday 12 arrival with Tuesday 16 departure covers all four competition days. Thursday 11 arrival with Monday 15 departure covers the first three.

A team entered on the Monday needs the Monday night, so its departure lands on Tuesday 16 February. Housekeeping meets that departure on the same morning as the desk.

Each shape is four nights. The organiser publishes no session time on any of the four dates, so neither shape carries an arrival curve.

What the booking page carries

The travel section points to Team Travel Source and a Book or Hold Rooms link. The partner's page carries the meet name, the four dates, two contact lines, and a note that live event rates are based on demand and subject to change.

No block rate, block size, cut-off date or release clause appears on the organiser's page. Each of those terms arrives in the partner's confirmation.

Late entries keep the window open

Entry rises to $210 for registration at the event. The page also states that last year's event sold out and recommends early registration.

An event-day price means the organiser keeps accepting entries after the advertised deadline. Hold the room window open past 2 November for any inventory committed to this meet.

Sixteen divisions inside four days

The results sections the organiser links carry sixteen division files for the 2025 and 2026 editions. Levels 1 to 10 make ten. Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire make the other six.

The 2024 results block carries fourteen session files and no Xcel Sapphire.

Sixteen divisions across four days spread a roster over the whole window. The organiser publishes no team count and no athlete count.

Two events on one set of entrance roads

The venue calendar assigns the meet to Arnold Hall, Reilly Coliseum, Edwards Hall and the Fair Expo Grille across 12-15 February. It books the Miami Winter International Open, a jiu-jitsu tournament, into the E. Darwin Fuchs Pavilion across 12-14 February. Three of the four meet dates carry both events.

The grounds page lists five vehicle entrances, a rideshare drop-off at Coral Way and 112th Avenue, and a handicap drop-off at the main entrance. The same page states that those points apply to the annual Youth Fair and may not apply to Expo Center events.

The calendar carries no attendance figure for either event.

Cover the window sets

Put the fourth night in the rota. A Monday competition day holds rooms through Monday night.

Set housekeeping against occupancy. No session grid exists to schedule around.

Staff the desk for two arrival populations: the gymnastics teams on either room-night shape, and the jiu-jitsu cohort from 12 to 14 February.

Put the checkout peak on the morning of Tuesday 16 February. Rooms released after the Monday competition come back together.

What stays unpublished

No session time on any of the four days. No team count. No athlete count. No block rate, block size or cut-off date. Admission and parking both read TBA on the organiser's page.
