Goodwood creates a hospitality sales post
The Goodwood Estate has appointed Ben Porter to the newly created post of Hospitality Sales Director. Hospitality and Catering News reported the appointment on 19 September 2026 under the byline James Russell.
Porter leads hospitality sales across the estate’s major events portfolio. His remit covers revenue growth, strategic partnerships, market expansion and new commercial opportunities across the hospitality offer. He also works on the development of the hospitality portfolio and its guest experience. He reports to Chief Commercial Officer Nathan Kosky.
The events that carry the hospitality revenue
Three events sit inside the portfolio. The Festival of Speed runs 15 to 18 July 2027, with tickets on general sale in November, per the estate’s dates announcement of 9 July 2026. The Goodwood Revival runs 18 to 20 September 2026 and carries Dunlop as presenting partner. The Qatar Goodwood Festival runs five days from 27 to 31 July 2027 and carries Visit Qatar as presenting partner.
Goodwood sells event hospitality through its own enquiry route. Each event page carries a Hospitality section, the Revival page lists Hospitality beside Tickets & Packages, and the Qatar Goodwood Festival page lists Hospitality beside a day-by-day guide and group tickets. The Festival of Speed announcement offers members of the GRRC Fellowship early access to tickets and a ten per cent discount on two.
Where the appointment came from
Porter spent almost nine years at Marylebone Cricket Club, where his most recent role was Head of Premium Seating. He previously worked at West Ham United and ITV.
