The season on sale
Under Canvas Santa Fe opens on 15 April 2027 and closes on 25 October. The brand's own camp page carries those dates as "2027 Dates: April 15th - October 25th". Reservations are open, and the page's booking widget takes a location, a check-in and a check-out.
The camp is Under Canvas's first New Mexico location, and the site covers 640 acres of high desert beside the Galisteo Basin Preserve. The camp page puts the drive from downtown Santa Fe at about 18 miles and roughly 25 minutes on US-285. A separate line on the same page describes the location as 30 minutes from Santa Fe.
The inventory
Forty-five safari-inspired canvas tents make up the opening inventory. Each carries a private deck, an en suite bathroom, a king-size bed, a wood-burning stove and in-tent cooling. The brand lists Suites, Deluxes, Stargazers and Safaris, and it offers tents for up to two children alongside the traditional types.
Hard-sided, temperature-controlled cabins appear in the operator's release as forthcoming. No opening date is attached to them. Cabins, saunas and a dedicated event tent are the three firsts the brand names for this camp.
The rate lines
Rates start at $279 a night plus taxes and fees. The camp page carries one rate-plan detail on the booking path: a breakfast rate plan that adds a $50 credit for each morning of the stay. Pets stay for a nightly fee.
The event tent carries 1,885 square feet and an adjoining open-air deck of 1,605 square feet, and it seats 80. That is the group line the brand is selling into one of its camps for the first time.
The demand the season is priced against
The camp's FAQ names the Santa Fe Opera and the region's festival calendar as prime-season draws. It describes September and October as a local favourite, with cooler days and golden aspens above camp. Both months sit inside the published season window.
What the booking page sets and what it leaves
The booking widget shows availability after the dates are entered. Questions on group holds, tent-type availability for a given date and cancellation terms go to the reservations team.
